here we go!!!! amazing, all of those wigs. at the end of about a week's time, we've spent a lot of time around the table getting to know these seven people. and i think it's safe to say that we're all surprised at the nuances and biases of the characters. they have endurance or strength or vulnerability where we'd thought there was none. sometimes they balk at what we want them to wear. like, today, graham (40-something middle management) seemed to much prefer a suit that pointed more toward stand-up comic, than a suit for a gent on the brink of being laid off. we thought he came into the scene with defeat, but now it looks more as though he comes in pretty confident - getting relief from all that defeat. maybe we see it in him in another way. surprises! that being said, both the guys in the room (eric and geoff) had to illustrate guy methods for holding beer bottles. i had no idea it required such finesse. i was humbled and grateful to have witnessed that sacred secret.
